Two More Iranian Soccer Players Seek Australia Asylum, ABC Says

Two additional members of the Iranian women’s soccer team have sought asylum in Australia, according to an Australian official. The players, who were present at the AFC Women’s Asian Cup on March 8 at Gold Coast Stadium, are now granted asylum status in the country.
