Inside the Dirty, Dystopian World of AI Data Centers

The narrator drives through Memphis with KeShaun Pearson, who directs Memphis Community Against Pollution, to a megaproject. They pass an abandoned coal plant, an active power plant with gas turbines, and hear cranes. The air smells of soot, gasoline, and asphalt, and a forest of electrical towers appears. A white‑walled hangar, larger than a dozen feet, is the final sight.
