Fortnite's Original Save the World Mode Finally Going Free-to-Play, and Launching For Switch 2

Fortnite’s original Save the World mode will become free‑to‑play on April 16, opening access to all supported platforms, including Switch 2 for the first time. After nearly nine years, the zombie‑survival, base‑building mode that once existed alone is now available without purchase, though still absent on Switch and smartphones.
