Britain places order for 37 new artillery systems

Britain awarded a £53 million contract to produce 37 Remote Controlled Howitzer 155 systems for the Army’s Mobile Fires Platform. The contract, issued by OCCAR, will have ARTEC GmbH build key weapon elements—barrel, muzzle brake, breech, recoil system, trunnions—on Boxer-based platforms, replacing AS90s transferred to Ukraine.
